This outreach is a valuable contribution to the Roma community, which lack resources and live in challenging circumstances due to their minority status in Slovakia and other European countries.

One of the primary goals of the project is to help the participants tell their story, talk about their identity or what is important to them through video, animation and other mediums. The work is then presented at different locations in the country - everything from community centers, to festivals, to galleries. Daniela and Oto are making an effort to reach Slovaks outside of the art going community. 

For Engelstad this is an opportunity to see how her former students from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava (2006- 2007) are using the experience and knowledge gained her class focused on project production adressing social justice.
