Practitioners working in this field produce new forms and methods for contemporary art and cultural institutions in order to foster mutual understanding between cultures, empower local communities, and cultivate coexistence on a global scale. They critically engage the discourse of contemporary art, creating new opportunities for learning and knowledge sharing and embracing interdisciplinarity by utilizing design and technology. Local and global concerns are addressed through critical responses and creative solutions.
